Focus and Scope
The mission of Jurnal Sifo Mikroskil (JSM) to share, develop and facilitate the output of research paper about Informatics, Information Systems and Information Technology. The scope of Journal of Information Systems Mikroskil (JSM) are: information systems, computer science, knowledge management, business & IT alignment, IT Governance, CRM, SCM, enterprise resource planning, enterprise architecture, business process management, business process reengineering, modeling and simulation, information retrieval, artificial intelligence, images processing, information security, data mining, cryptography, social network, cloud computing, data science, IoT, and others.
Peer Review Process of Jurnal Sifo Mikroskil (JSM)
The peer review process is estimated to take approximately two to three months. However, the duration may be extended depending on the number of manuscripts currently under review.
- Authors are required to prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the official template (in .doc or .docx format) and submit them through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform of Jurnal Sifo Mikroskil.
- Once the manuscript is submitted via the OJS system, the Editor will conduct an initial screening to ensure that the manuscript meets the minimum editorial standards and aligns with the journal’s aims and scope. A plagiarism check using Plagiarism X Checkerwill also be performed at this stage.
- Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will proceed to the double-blind peer review stage, during which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential.
- The Editor will assign at least two reviewers who possess relevant expertise related to the manuscript's subject to conduct a thorough and objective evaluation.
- Reviewers will assess the manuscript based on the following criteria:
- Relevance of the manuscript content to the journal's focus and scope
- Appropriateness of the title in relation to the manuscript content
- Clarity and coherence of the abstract
- Quality and clarity of the introduction
- Completeness and rigor of the research methodology
- Presentation and analysis of results and discussion
- Accuracy and consistency of citations and references
- Based on the evaluation, reviewers will issue one of the following decisions:
- Accepted submission
- Revision required
- Resubmit for review
- Decline submission
- The review results will be communicated to the author by the Editor.
- If revisions are required, the author must revise the manuscript according to the reviewers’ comments and suggestions within a maximum of two weeks. The revised manuscript must be resubmitted through the OJS system.
- The final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of the manuscript rests solely with the Editor, based on the reviewers’ recommendations and the overall quality of the revised manuscript (if applicable).
- Once the manuscript is accepted, the Editor will schedule it for publication and inform the author of the volume and issue in which the article will appear, accompanied by an official Letter of Acceptance (LoA).

JSM published a journal twice a year, in April and October
Open Access Policy
Jurnal SIFO Mikroskil provides open access to its content by adhering to the principle that by making research freely available to the public, it will support greater global exchange of knowledge, which means that this journal provides direct open access to all content on the journal's website with the principle of making research results available at no cost to the public and to all those who need it, whether to read, download, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of this article. Journal administrators will continue to strive continuously to work with the journal's author community in choosing the best open access license options. Articles that are accepted will be available and free to download on Jurnal SIFO Mikroskil page.
